big mama’s chair (iteration 1)

So this piece kind of changed things for me. I’d say this is the first piece of pottery that I’ve made that has a real backstory and meaning behind it which I won’t indulge you of, BUT know that making this piece felt different than making mugs, bowls, and the like. I say it‘s iteration 1 because I want to make this piece again!! and better. I feel confident in my throwing skills and I want to feel the same about handbuilding.
