This is the first series I’ve ever made. I’ve decided to anchor this series with its geographical location (native name) because all of these pieces were made over 7 weeks in a new studio for me. All of these pieces stand out in my brain as an exercise in form and really a skills practice. This series is me getting serious about my craft but still having fun. For the first time in the history of my throwing, I’ve been able to make thinner, more even pieces that have real shape thats reflected both on the outside and inside of the piece. I call this a massive success!!!
