swirly plate

first ever plate-- kind of botched

this lovely plate is the first plate that I’ve ever made. She is lumpy and bumpy and to cover that up, I decided to etch in a swirl with a pen tool. bad decision. The thinness and shallowness of the line made it near-impossible to get the underglaze to stay in the crack. overall i do like the plate, just not for eating. good for rings.
